Carved gemstones, precious metals, and fine materials united in one piece
Michael Peuster’s objets d’art combine carved gemstones with precious metals, stone bases, and other fine materials to create sculptural objects for the collector’s cabinet. Because his expertise extends to goldsmithing, he designs and makes each piece in its entirety, from the carved stone to the finished mount.
The results are one-of-a-kind objects, such as a rock crystal sphere engraved with the head of Medusa, gemstone flowers on carved stems, or birds perched on polished stone pedestals.
